I started bleeding at around 10 weeks and 3 days. Just light spotting, I called my OB office they said it was normal and not to worry. On the third day of bleeding I asked if I could come in so they could take a look. They brought me in and did an ultrasound to find that my gestational sac was only measuring at 5/6 weeks and there was no baby. I knew that I was obviously going through a miscarriage. They wanted to make sure my HCG levels were going down. At 10 weeks and 5 days my HCG was at 19,000 and two days later it was at 12,000. I scheduled a D&C; at 11 weeks and 6 days (3 days ago) and I've been lightly spotting ever since.

Honestly, I have put all my pain from this miscarriage towards wanting to conceive another baby. I just want to try again like 'now' but I'm still showing positive pregnancy tests.

Is there anything I can do to hurry this process along?

I'm wondering if anyone has had similar HCG levels and if having lower HCG makes your period come by quicker?
