Comfort nursing — REFUSING PACIFIER

My daughter is 3 momths old and has just started refusing her pacifier and only finding comfort now with my nipple in her mouth. Around the time I am thinking of going back to work (of course, right? lol). Is there anything I can do? Or is it just something I have to go with and ride out? I should add: OUCH! HELP!
