For some reason this month has been a roller coaster. Around ovulation time, I had sharp pains around my right ovary. I thought they were just ovulation pains, but then they got worse and worse. Then around 5 days before I was due to start, the pains came back, again on the right side. I got to the point where it was difficult to walk. This happened on and off (with light spotting) until I finally started. After I started, the pain intensified. I am now flooding and the pain is to the point to where I'm having to take pain pills just to get through the day. The pain is now a mixture between a dull ache in my back and the sharp pains on the right side. I have had exploratory surgery and I do not have endometriosis. Is 25 too young to be premenopausal? The only other thing I can think of is a cyst on my ovary. I'm just wondering if that would make my period as bad as it's been.
