Any advice is much appreciated

Tiffany

Hi everyone! My name is Tiffany and I have officially been diagnosed with PCOS about two months ago (only symptoms being polycystic ovaries and irregular periods). My gyno basically threw infertility cards at me and didn't offer any advice/support/explanation. Being the worrier I am (aka I needed some answers) I immediately made an appointment with a fertility specialist to become more educated and hear my options (and of course to calm my nerves). My husband and I are ttc with baby #1 and I just got off my birth control in August. The fertility specialist suggested I try naturally for 6 months and then we will look at going on medication from there, if need be. I am just looking for any suggestions/tips when conceiving or tracking ovulation (Dr asked for me to keep track). I have been using OPK's and wondering any specific brand? Also, does anyone suggest I get a basal thermometer and if so, what brand? I am trying to stay positive as I am not sure how my body will react and don't want to immediately assume I will not be able to conceive just because I have PCOS even though it can be discouraging. Any advice is much appreciated as I start my journey.
