Opinions on the Nuvaring?!

Question

So I'm thinking about going on birth control and I know that pills or a needle won't be for me. I feel like I want to try the nuvaring but I'm not sure yet. Has anyone used it?

I've been on neuva ring for about two years and I haven't had any issues with it! It works perfectly with my busy schedule. My boyfriend says he can never feel it. I seem to be the only person who hasn't had a problem with it, but I would recommend it!

I was on it for years, loved it for not having sex regularly but once we got together we ended up pulling it out all the time during intercourse. We'd wake up the next morning and find it in the sheets. Definitely recommend if avoiding pregnancy though, I loved it.

I tried it for a month and had to stop. I've never had a yeast infection before and after a few weeks of using the nuvaring I developed one. Worst thing ever. Switched back to bc pills (4 years ago) and haven't had issues since.

i have never used it, but someone I knew got pregnant off of it. seeing other people's comments too, I wouldn't recommend it.

I used it for 5 months and then got pregnant while on it.. It was nice and convenient but I definitely won't be going back on it.

I was on it for 6 months and it gave me terrible hormonal acne all over my neck and shoulders. Do not get nuva ring! I couldn't believe my birth control was doing this to me until my doctor confirmed that this form is very high in progestin. Progestin in bc should always be balanced with estrogen but in the case of nuva ring, it is not and this puts your hormones way out of wack! The convenience of the ring is NOT worth it!

I was on it for about a year, and did not have a good experience with it. I had to pee all the time amongst and some other symptoms. A doctor I went to later told me it dented her cervix.

I used it for a year and preferred it over the pill. I personally didn't have any side effects. I did notice however when reading the instructions that it mentions it has no idea what effects Nuva ring can have on males after long exposure over time. Lucky after a year my Fiance didn't show any odd signs lol
