So I have an appointment next week for my first scan. I will be 7w1d. I was super excited about seeing my baby until everyone started flooding me with "Transvaginal Ultrasound caused me to miscarry." So now I'm curious what you ladies think?

Personally I feel like if it were truly that unsafe that the OB wouldn't perform them on everyone in their early stages of their pregnancies.

On the other hand some say the sound waves are too much for the baby to handle this early on when performed internally?

I'm just so nervous because I don't want to risk it if it's unsafe.
