untreated bacterial vaginosis?

okay i went and got checked out last month. i found out i have bv, they prescribed me pills. but i dont take them. now i feel like symptoms are really starting to worsen, bloating all month, cramps, headaches, and etc. sex has became a hassle. i dont know what to do i dont trust pills thats why i dont take them except my bc. what should i do i know i sound dumb, just take the pills. idk if it will interfer with my bc. if ill get an allergic reaction i just dont know what to do. somebody help me and are my symptoms something i should get checked out. and if i have bv and keep having sex with same person my bf do they have it. i have a foul smell and i bath everyday and i have thick yellow discharge. i also have a big loss of appetite i dont really wanna eat nothing from how bloated ive been.

You can get the vaginal version. It is called metrogel. Tell your dr you could t finish the pills bc they upset your stomach too much and could you have the metrogel instead

Antibiotics will mess with you bc I don't think the pills for bv are antibiotics are they? But yeah def need to take them cause it is going to get better

It will probably get worse if you dont take the pills. Do you want a bad smell down there and gross discharge forever? What if one day you get a serious disease and you need antibiotics? You just wont take them? This is why everyone died at such a young age decades ago, because there was no treatment available such as antibiotics. I am taking antibiotics right now for BV and I am fine, no reactions. The vast majority of people are not allergic to antibiotics and if you happen to be, they will simply give you a different kind with different ingredients.
