low iron = iron infusion 😕

So just got off the phone with my Dr who said my iron levels are very low causing me to be anemic...i knew I was tired but I put all that down to getting over the flu, working long hrs (im a nurse) and looking after my 2kids and running a household! I've now organised with the maternity ward (or L & D ward...yes I'm in Australia lol) to have a iron infusion done, then my levels rechecked before starting iron multivitamins...all this in between working, kids commitments and looking after the household. Man...im getting tired just thinking about it all. Has anyone had to have an iron infusion before? would love some i site to it xxx
