Save Women and Children First?

Watching Criminal Minds...there's a hostage situation. They request the robbers to send out women and children as a sign of good faith.

You see this scenario all the time.

On Titanic, it was women and children only at first for the life boats.

So many people are all about equality in so many facets, but are you all about equality when it comes to this?

I'm super curious what our people of Controversy Corner think about this.

Personally, I don't mind not being equal on everything. I like doors being opened for me, getting help with my bags, and being saved first!
