Is it wrong for a 17 year old girl to date a 25 year old?

I- look I don't want any judgement but I've been having insecurities and doubts about myself and my relationship with this guy who's 25 years old. And I feel like it's wrong but it's so right because he's way mature than the people who, as an average teenager would date. 
I talked to him and he says it's only illegal for him to have sex with me because I'm a minor. 
So is it wrong and weird? We both love each other.

You're almost an adult. He smart, why does he love you? Because you're young? You're still in high school, he could be finishing college. The age gap isn't too large, just be careful. It actually isn't illegal in some places backside you are over the age of consent and in some places, that's legal. (Not all) but that's not really the problem, if you don't sleep with him. If you do, and your parents find out, they could charge him with rape (although I think they need you to cooperate with them to do that)

I started dating my husband of 10 years when I was 17 and he was 24. It really comes down to maturity and how well you relate to each other. For you, this may be a perfect match, for another 17 year old, it may be weird and uncomfortable. It's really very personal and depends person to person .

JUST BE CAREFUL. I'm with someone much older than me and I've had to deal with all the legal shit. Don't have sex with him until you're 18 seriously. Also, make sure his intentions are good before you give him too much sexually or otherwise. Not saying all men are users but some may be. That goes with any age though. I'm happily with my fiancé and we've been together for 6 years now. Just be careful like in any relationship and seriously....no sex until you're of age. The law doesn't care if you have consent as a minor. Until you're 18 they think you're too stupid (which you're not) to give consent.

Honey I was in a crappy relationship for 4 months with a 17 year old and I was 16. He cheated on me and moved without any explanation. That was 3 years ago and I was depressed every day. This past April he was kicked out of his dads house and we offered for him to live with us. We all thought he had changed. I knew back in December that he and my now ex best friend were dating and let's just say I was pissed but I was young, stupid and still in love with the guy. (I'm not gonna lie I did drink a half a bottle of brandy and 1 1/2 bottles of wine by myself) Come my graduation, my best friend surprised me and came over for the reception. They were hanging all over each other and I ignored it. That night they were making out in my bed and it pissed me off. I told my parents and they gave him a lecture. A month later we're laying in my bed and his phone keeps buzzing with messages from her so I glanced over to see her saying, "I want to suck you off so bad!" (Yea it's still imprinted in my brain) I was pissed and left the room and went upstairs. I told my mom I had had enough and told her what my supposed "best friend" had said and she told me it was my call. I told him pack his shit and get the fuck out! (Note by this time I am 18 and he is 19 so both legal adults) He moved in with a family we were supposed to adopt a baby from but he was kicked out for harassing the mother. Now he's back with his mother and working under his LITTLE brother at the local diner. I refuse to go in there for that reason. For the next 2 months I was depressed and considering suicide, but then I got a message from my now boyfriend that says, "Good morning beautiful." This was shocking considering he's good friends with my mom and he gone through two cheating liars and one was his now exwife. We had more in common than what we thought and now we have been together almost 3 months. Honey, there is absolutely nothing wrong with dating an older man. Aaron is 27 years old and I'm just under 3 months till my 19th birthday. If he treats you right and lives you for who you are then that's love. Now my question to you is, does he truly make you happy?

My now husband and I have been together for 6 years. We are 13 years apart. Make sure the intentions are good and hes not using you. Also, be careful. Do not do anything illegal before 18, no sex before 18, etc. it can totally backfire. I was 17 when we got together and he was 31. 2 months later I turned 18 and then we felt ok to start telling our families. We are mow happy and have 2 kids we get along great. Good luck!
