Are there types of birth control pills and which is the best one ??

There is combination & progesterone only. Typically combination is the easiest to transition for most women

there is the combo pill which has progesterone and estrogen 3 weeks of active pills and the 4th week are inactive pills where you will get your period. there is the mini pill which is progesterone only all 4  weeks are active pills and there's no set week when you get your period. I have yo take the mini pills because I get migraines where I lose my vision and the doctor said taking estrogen can increase my risk for a stroke because the estrogen can cause a blood clot based on the types of migraines I get. most doctor's will prescribe combo pills unless you have a medical reason as to why you can't take estrogen.
