so, i've got this thing where occasionally i have fits of coughing. not like long bouts of coughs, but like an unshakable need to cough that i'll satiate with one or two coughs and then it comes back a few seconds later. i'll hold off for a minute or so but that i just HAVE to cough... like there's something lodged in my throat? and i keep randomly gasping. my mom also has this but we haven't gotten any answers as to why. idk it it's useful info or not but we have both been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. does anybody else experience this?
