Paragaurd vs Mirena

Hey ladies, I'm about due with my first baby this October and I know I'll have to decide on a birth control method once her arrives. I've used the shot, patch, nuva ring and the pill in the past. I think I've narrowed my options between these two IUDs. I'd love to go hormone free but my periods and cramps are horrible so I won't be able to tolerate them getting any worse (I've heard paragaurd can make periods more heavy and cramps more intense) but I am also worried about the hormone aspect of Mirena, I've heard TONS of horror stories about weight gain and depression. Any personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!
