Lower abdominal pain at 26 weeks when walking.

Kathy

I've been having a sharp lower abdominal pain (near my pubic bone) when I walk even a short distance. It's fine when I'm just walking around the house, but its like whenever I walk outside I start feeling the pain. Right now I'm downtown with my husband (we had to bus it) and I was feeling fine before we left and while walking around a little bit. Then as soon as we left a store the pain started. It was bad enough I was leaning forward a bit and that relieved it a little. I sat down for about 5 minutes and drank some water and it lessened a lot but is still there. I've been continuing to drink water too. I know some pain is normal because of baby growing and my body needs to compensate for that, but is it normal for the type of pain and for it to only be when I walk around outside? I did have a lot of hip pain before pregnancy so I believe that has something to do with it as well. Any advice or suggestions?
