Abnormal spinal Bifida results!😨

Hi Ladies just need to vent. Went for my monthly ultrasound today. I go every month because I'm high risk due to my age. Doctor said my AFP results were slightly above the threshold of 2.5 and I'm heart broken to hear the news. The doctor said that she thinks the abnormal results could be coming from several other reasons because my anatomy ultrasound last month and this month show a healthy looking spine and head crown.

I told the doctor I want an amniocentesis for peace of mind.

Plus the doctor told me they found extra renal pouch near my baby's right kidney. The doctor said it won't hurt her but that I need to be aware of it and to follow up with a urologist once she is born. I looked it up online and I think it may be called Morison's pouch.

Any advice would be welcomed.
