constant gagging / dry heaving:( anyone else ?

I've been having horrible nausea since I was 6 weeks. Now I am 11 weeks , so 5 weeks of this and it's felt like hell since I have it all day 24/7. But Today it seems to have gotten worse ... everytime I Stand up, i gag and dry heave but don't throw up. Although I did throw up a little earlier. But it's mainly Just severe gagging.  I've never had this before. Im trying to sit and relax as much as I can but Its so frustrating. Has anyone else ever experienced this ? 😰😰😞😞

Omg yes. it was a huge struggle for me to brush my teeth! The only thing that I found kept me from gagging was having water or something to drink with me 24/7. Anytime I felt like I was going to gag I'd swallow a little bit of water, it kind of counteracted the gagging.

Yup. Every day up until about week 13. It gets better though it seems hard to imagine now.

I had this with my second pregnancy! Smells always got me too! Any smell was stronger then it is supposed to be and it would make me sick! I had bad all day sickness with my second!

I had same honey since week 7, on week 10 it's just got really bad) so my doctor prescribed me medication to treat nausea, and really helps me; ask your doctor/nurse

I had severe gagging/ dry heaving. Only threw up once when brushing my teeth. Luckily my ob prescribed me some nausea medication. I'm 11 weeks and 3 days today and it's just starting to slowly get better

Totally - I especially get the gags after eating something that kind of coats my throat? dairy, etc. Someone told me to try holding my thumb (tuck it into the same hand) while brushing my teeth -- I'm not convinced that it is very helpful but it is a little distracting from the gags. :/ I'm exactly 12 weeks tomorrow and today was the first day that I didn't feel awful all day and I even ate some chicken curry (meat of any kind has been so unappealing). I'm so hoping that I'm turning the corner! Good luck to you, I hope you feel better soon!

gagging was the only thing that would "help" my neasea! I felt like I gagged all the time from 6w-12w

First day for me trying B6/unisom combo and today was also the first day I haven't spent dry heaving. Give it a whirl!

Unfortunately yep! But not as bad as you're experiencing, it's pretty normal though. I think it's something that will just pass or get better hopefully as the pregnancy progresses. 
Earlier in my pregnancy I would gag right on my last mouthful of food for some reason, no matter how much I was enjoying it.. I had to either spit it out or choke it down, I'm so glad that has passed! I'm almost 30 weeks now and only gag when I smell something nasty! Good luck 🙂
