Agree you should defrost in fridge. Milk will go bad if it just sits out at room temperature for too long. Even if it's defrosting. So fridge or warm water

I soak my frozen milk in warm/hot water (not hot enough to where I can't put my hand in it tho) and just leave it set out on the counter for an hour or two until it looks creamy again and then refrigerate it or put it in a bottle and feed my baby.
