I'm 18 years old and since I've been about 13/14 I've had stretch marks (from puberty). They started on my buttocks and then eventually started on the front my upper thighs and most recently on my right breast I have seen some appear. I really want to remove them, I've tried cocoa butter (which seems to have worked the best), olive oil, vitamin E - but they still haven't budged. I'm currently using palmers cocoa butter which smells really good, but I'm not sure that it's removing the white, silvery marks. I am extending self conscious about them, when summer comes around it's almost depressing to think that I cannot wear a swimsuit without feeling insecure.

I have worked extremely hard to maintain the body I have created for myself, I went through phases of extreme dieting and self hatred and even almost had an eating disorder (I would try to limit myself with my calorie intake, until I felt dizzy and lightheaded. I got so sick one time from a weight loss drink that I threw up all night. My parents would try and force me to eat, but I would refuse.) I was never "anorexic" but currently I am still a bit underweight - 5'7" and 110lbs, I however feel much more confident about my body and I love my figure! I am also eating healthier (following a pescatarian diet) and drinking lots of water.It's a shame that there is still that one thing keeping me back from loving my body. I know that acceptance is an important part of this, however I feel as though I have to hide this part of me, not for anyone else, but for my own confidence. Please, if anyone could help, it would be a world of help to me.
