My son recently started daycare and he is on his second ear infection this month. This time he was prescribed Cefdinir, which is supposed to be stronger than the amoxicillin he was prescribed last time, and he has developed the worst diaper rash! I mean really really bad. Very very red all around his rectum and up to his scrotum and even in the crevices of his crotch.

He screams when I just remove his diaper and wiping and applying diaper cream almost brought me to tears I felt so bad for him. To make matters worse he has had a constant flow of diarrhea all day so I am changing his diaper more frequently.

I started giving him a probiotic and I pray it helps. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any tips? I feel so bad for him.
