does eating ice cubes ruin your teeth  people say its bad are they healthy i just love eating ice cubes they are so good and refreshing to me before i ate them but not as much as now im like craving icecubes all the time do some of you eat ice cubes.

I don't eat ice cubes. But I do like crushed ice (SONIC) maybe once a day. But I've heard they are bad for your teeth.

It is a sign of anemia. I went to the dentist for a routine check up a few years ago and he pointed out that my teeth were flat. He asked if I grind my teeth. I told him I didn't but I ate ice all the time. He suggested I have blood work done so I went thinking he was nuts and sure enough my iron levels were so bad I needed a blood transfusion and I have been on iron pills ever since. On a side note, eating ice may or may not be bad for your teeth depending on who you talk to but I dislocated my jaw eating ice and now have a permanent jaw condition called TMJ that causes horrible migraines and I have to sleep with a mouth gated at night to protect my teeth from further damage from the pressure of my jaw. Ever since I started taking iron pills and let  hem get into my system, I don't even like ice in any of my drinks and I don't eat it at all. I used to eat probably two gallon sized freezer bags full of ice in one day if not more. Just get your iron checked!

May not be all true whether someone crave ice means they are anemic.  I an 30w2d and I am not anemic. I enjoy chewing on ice, it is a stress reliever and help me not over eat when I am bored.

If you're pregnant and crave ice cubes you may be low in iron. It's pretty common to be mild anemic during pregnancy
