Baby sprinkle?

How do you feel about showers for second babies?  I'm having my second and a few want to throw me a shower. I just don't know how I feel about it... My first is 4 years old so there's a bit of a gap but we still have most big items.

I feel every baby should be celebrated. I had a huge shower for my first and a smaller one for my son. My grandma wants me to have one for this one. There's a 5 year difference between my last and this one. So if someone wants to throw one I won't say no. Lol

This is my first but I never saw the reason why people didnt have a 2nd shower after their first baby. To me its a great reason to get friends and family together. If people feel weird about the gifts just note that gifts arent necessary or if they feel inclind just get diapers 😃

After we find out the sex we will be having one for my second child.  They're useful and fun bonding. I seriously love then. Probably going to do two for this one. One down here in Wyoming with my family and then one in Montana/Washington area for my SO's family. We've got a lot of love coming in and a small apartment hahaha.

People love to buy stuff for babies. My sister is throwing me a shower (this is my first ) but I'm not expecting anything elaborate. Most showers I've been to people buy clothes and wraps and lots of useful items like nappie and lotions and stuff that you can never have to much of. If you have all the big stuff it's easier and people will know you have a lot of stuff already and get things you will need and use that you may not have anymore. I agree with the other comments it's nice for each baby to be welcomed in its own celebration :-)
And if you're lucky people may give you something to pamper yourself with if they think you have plenty for bub

I am having #3. My first two are with my ex husband and this is with my new husband. His family wants to throw us a shower. My oldest son is 13 and my younger one is 4.  Also hoping to throw a baby girl shower for the first time. I'm not asking for one but it is nice to celebrate new arrivals.

For my friends when they had their second (or third) baby, we had a sprinkle for them, but after the baby was born. So it was kind of a meet and greet the baby, socializing for the mom, and those people who wanted to get a little gift for the baby brought one, but it wasn't mandatory.

Yep, just do a sprinkle. It's to celebrate new baby, have fun and get adorable clothes and etc. People like to buy cute newborn clothes and gifts ;)
