Opinions!!!!

I went to get my iud out the other day and my ob yanked on it for like an hour and couldn't get it out. Now I can't feel the strings in there... This is where I'm confused if she tried for over an hour to get it out an it wouldn't come out what are the chances of it falling out. Or going up inside me??? I'm so confused it has me losing sleep not knowing if it is all the way up in me now or if it fell out. I'm experiencing terrible cramping since my appointment. Along with every time I eat it's like it goes right through me!!! I need some opinions please don't just read and not reply I need some insight. I'm going crazy!!!!!
