Maintaining curves after baby

Hi ladies! This question is to women who have already had their babies. Before I got pregnant I've always been pretty slim , not exactly straight up and down but I didn't have an hourglass figure either . Just a nice shape . But now at 23 weeks , I've gained most of my weight so far (17 lbs) in my hips, thighs and butt and I LOVE it .i definitely have the hourglass figure I've always wanted now and while I don't think losing the weight I might gain in my belly will be hard, I don't want to lose the what I've gain in my lower body. If that makes sense . I want to lose the belly and keep everything else after I have my son . So my question is , is this possible and if so how would I go about it? I'm a ftm so this is all new to me I didn't know I could gain weight in my hips and thighs because my mother had narrow hips her whole life after two kids and I thought it was kinda a genetic thing. Any advice will help! Thank you!
