Is it wrong for me to have tries to teach people about women's bodies?

Everyone is so uninformed about women's bodies, especially women so I made a few fb posts. I'll show them. We're they unnecessary?                        1.) The vagina is self-cleaning - Soap is not necessary to wash your vagina, this can actually throw off your pH balance. Most of you think I'm telling not to wash your lady parts with soap; however that is not the case. In order for you to know what I'm talking about then I guess that I have to show you a diagram of… (wait for it) your lady parts! Because some of you don't know your own body. This is your lady parts... We are going to focus on the clitoris, labia and vagina together, collectively called the Vulva.

You know you're not obligated to try and "inform" people of this stuff, right? Especially if they didn't ask. Simply posting this (unsolicited nonetheless) on Facebook seems highly inappropriate to me.

What was the reason for the post? was it aimed at someone or was it in a group where people weren't aware? I don't know if it's just me but I had very good sexual education at school so I'm aware of how the vagina works.. if it was just a random post maybe people didn't want to read about the ins and outs of a vagina??

4.) And finally one that I did not mention that we’d talk about is the urethra. This is not used for sex, in case you were wondering. It’s just used for peeing. Nothing else, don't touch it lol

3.) The Clitoris- This little bugger is most definitely your bfff. Every woman knows this (mind you, I say woman not little girl). The clitoris has no other specific function other than to bring you pleasure, that’s it. The clitoris is very sensitive and contains up to about 8000 nerve endings which is more than half of the male penis. The clitoris is protected by the labia which keep it from getting over stimulated. Believe it or not, overstimulating the clitoris sounds fun but it can lead to sensation that feels uncomfortable and even almost painful because the clitoris swells as you reach climax.

The main purpose of the Labia is to protect the clitoris, urethra and vaginal opening. The labia majora is the outer part that you see whenever you look down there and the labia minora is the inner part (the part some of y’all say look like roast beef or bubble gum). These are the first defense in helping to prevent problems that can occur with your lady parts like STIs. Every woman’s labia are different pertaining to size, color and even length. Just because your labia look floppy, doesn’t mean that you are more sexually promiscuous, and if they are smaller it doesn’t mean that you have a “tight” vagina. The way your labia look now are how they are supposed to look and don't fall for the trends of cutting your labia to look smaller or “more attractive” they are not there to please men or women in the way they look, but to protect you.

2.) The Labia are (and should be) your best friends- The labia are a part of the external female genitalia they’re what we in slang call’em, lips. They protect that lovely thing called a clitoris and these also have hair on them, just the labia majora. This area is not the easiest to shave nor is it the best idea to do so. This area of pubic hair is your defense against your underclothes, or if you're going commando, your clothes.  Things like Nair are not recommended to use down there either, if applied incorrectly, Nair can get into your vagina and cause SERIOUS damage and this can also cause chemical burns if used improperly. If you do use Nair down there, please please please be careful.

Speaking of odors, let’s talk about scented wipes and soaps. While some women may not have reactions to these items, it can impact other women’s vaginal health as well. If your lady parts were intended to smell like roses and lavender then they would smell like roses and lavender.  Vaginal odor can change at different times, especially when you are ovulating. So remember that not every smell should be treated as an infection, you will know when something is up. Also topical creams like vagisil don't work for yeast infections, they only mask the problem, if you want something that works, monistat is an antifungal medication and doesn’t just mask your problems. I personally would prefer to go to the doctor but to “each their own”, as they say.

While we are here talking about clean vaginas, let’s talk about the sex part of a clean vagina.  I'm not promoting unprotected sex here but if you just so happen to have unprotected sex, make sure that both partners are clean, both health wise and body wise, taking showers before sex is a good idea and so is keeping your pubic hair nicely trimmed ,not bald, remember hair holds bacteria but it also helps to prevent infections. If move on to more adult things like fingering, which I'm sure most of us enjoy, then make sure that YOU WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE. Washing your hands and TRIMMING YOUR NAILS BEFORE putting your hands or your partner’s hands inside of you can also help prevent the spreading of bacteria and infections. Long nails can hold plenty of dirt and hands touch everything, as your hands are already a foreign object to the vagina, introducing bad bacteria is a bad idea and can cause it to smell from the vagina cleaning itself later on. Safe sex is great sex and you could just wear a condom, but this here is a ‘just in case you do’ type deal.
