... and you have a threat of war with a country that practices the thing that is the most vile to you personally, as part of their national celebration and customs.

You do not have the option of going to war! What do you do?

A) send 100 good people who will suffer as a sacrifice at the hands of this other country.

B) send a confirmed fertile member of your family (whom you love dearly) to marry into this family and reside there forever.

C) offer yourself as a sacrifice to this other country (your bloodline will have to abdicated the thrown and wealth and will be moved to the lowest class of your society).
