Forced to get on a plane at 37 weeks!

Caitlin

I live in Florida and have been stuck in New Jersey due to the hurricane. We finally have power back on at my house in FL, but I couldn't find an earlier flight that I could afford...so I'm flying out this Saturday at 37 weeks pregnant. I know this isn't ideal, but it seems more logical than a 20 hour car ride, seeing as a flight is only 2 hours. I've had a normal pregnancy so far with zero complications so it should be fine. I don't really have another option though because I have Medicaid in florida so they don't cover me here in Jersey, also I have nowhere to keep her once she's born and none of her items. I was wondering if any other ladies have experienced traveling late into pregnancy and if you have any tips?? I read to stay hydrated and stand up to walk around if needed.
