Can I continue birth control after 3 months?

Somewhere I read that you're supposed to go 3 months on, then 1 month off. I don't want to do that. I love my birth control and don't want to stop. I will only stop if it is recommended to go pill free for a month every 3 months. What should I do?

Most pills are designed where you have 3 weeks of hormones and then 1 week of no hormones, I think that might be what you read. Definitely don't skip a month, then you're not protected from pregnancy.
