Signs?

Question

What do you consider the signs of an abusive relationship? And what do you consider signs of a sociopathic narcissist? I fear that's what my relationship is but I'm curious what others consider the signs of these are.

Sweetheart, if you feel like thats what your relationship is coming to you need to leave. Dont wait for others opinions. God forbid something happens to you, and if you have littles, them as well.

You don't need someone else's opinion to know if a relationship is good for you or not. You should always feel loved and cherished in a relationship. Your partner is there to encourage you through life and build you, not stagnate and tear you down. 
You deserve to an amazing relationship and if you're not happy - move on and move up!

if someone isn't treating you right PERIOD, then leave and never get involve with them again. It could be a family member, a spouse, or even parents. Find ur happiness and don't ever be in a negative situation.

I agree with the other commenters that you shouldn't wait for others comments to leave if you're unhappy, BUT... I also know that in a relationship with  a n/s that they make you feel crazy and you question your own judgment and sanity so I'll do my best to fill you in on the signs I saw with my own n/s.
1) emotionally abusive silent treatment/disappearing for days on end over imaginary disagreements- refusing to discuss actual problems/using problems he created as an excuse for more bad behavior or abuse
2) no lasting or consistent relationships with others, especially his own family members but also friends, would always have "new" friends and be falling out with people. Seemed to especially loathe women.
3) presented himself as much more "together" than he actually was- talked down to others constantly- thought he was much smarter and more successful or holier than others
4) gaslighting- look it up 
5) physically threatening and abusive, destroyed items that were important to me 
6) financial abuse- always took the money out of our account, on more than one occasion took and cut up my own personal bank cards 
7) manipulative. Constantly lying! Even when presented with proof of own wrongdoing would try like hell to turn it back on me and make me question my own sanity, then see item #1
8) constantly cheating and lying, would try very hard to alienate my support
system and convince others in my life that I was the one with problems and he was just trying to "help" me.
9) every time I left would "Hoover" me back in - look it up 
Regardless of whether this matches up with your situation, if you're unhappy you should leave. If this does somehow help you confirm or give you the additional validation you need to finally leave, feel free to message me. Whatever the situation, leave safely, avoid altercation (either leave when he isn't around or have a friend there to help you leave and be a "witness"), and block all contact asap. Best of luck
