IUI or Clomid or both?!

Question

I recently went to my first endocrinologist appointment after TTC for over a year. I am freaking a bit since I'm 32! She told me that I should call her on the first day of my next cycle and tell her what I'd like to do next. I apparently have unexplained infertility as nothing looked particularly odd during my ultrasound. The doctor gave me the option to try clomid, IUI, or have endometriosis surgery( even though I may not HAVE it) :( .... or all three next. I would really like to be pregnant by December! What should I do? Start with clomid and see or go ahead and try IUI and clomid? Not sure where to start! Any advice is sooooo appreciated!

Hi there! I'm also 32 & had all of mine & my fiancés test come back completely normal. I also ovulate on my own each month. I just did my first round of 50mg Clomid & an IUI. My dr. recommended for me to not do the Endo surgery, he said he didn't really see any signs I had it. I'd say try Clomid and possibly IUI before jumping to surgery.

Hi I'm 32.. started at my reproductive endocrinologist about 6-7mo ago. Unexplained infertility as well.  Did clomid one month and timed intercourse .... nothing.
Then tried clomid and a trigger shot w timed intercourse nothing ... 
 Fast forward fourth iui TODAY on clomid as well.
However I have a crazy curvature also in my cervix which caused a bit of trouble during the iui. I will do about three more then go to IVf 🙄😣 the struggle is real

hi... 33 here. we go in Friday for all of our testing results. prelim was good and probably falling into the unexplained category as well.  our next step will be combo iui and clomid most likely. really to increase our chances since we are a bit late to the game. been trying for about a year,  but haven't used any contraceptive in over 3 years. good luck to you guys on your journey! hi I am 32 with unexplained infertility and one miscarriage. been TTC 2 years now. just started on 100mg of Clomid and will do my first IUI this week. we were told we could have 4 rounds and if that didn't get is pregnant then it was on to IVF for us.
whatever you choose, just make sure it is right for you. we will do the IUI but are choosing to not do IVF for our own personal reasons. whatever path you choose will be the right one for you!

I would refrain from surgery, just because it's surgery... I hate them. (have had my fair share) but try Clomid first. they usually try it for 3 to 6 months and then take breaks. im on my 2nd round, but still low dose to see whats going on. im 32 also. good luck though and keep us posted.

Why does your doctor what you are Clomid? Is she concerned you aren't ovulating? I didn't know it was used otherwise. I believe I am in the same boat. I had blood work and an ultrasound and all look okay. I'm going back to the doctor October 2 for a following up/next steps. I am also 32 and we haven't used protection well over a year. My hubby doesn't want to get tested though...thinks it's my anxiety...good luck to you!
