Didn't really know where to post this, but my friend relapsed sometime within the last 4-5 days, (meth), and they are now having what I think is withdrawals. I've never been around drugs or know anything about them so I'm not sure on how this all works, but my friend is constantly twitching and moving nonstop, sucking on their teeth, messing with their nose, and just randomly saying things that make no sense, and at night they don't sleep and just roll around, and they're sweating really bad but their skin feels cold. I'm wondering how long this will last and if this is normal, and things I can do to help them with the withdrawals. This is their first relapse in about 10 months so I'm honestly not that angry at them because I know how addiction works and they had a moment of weakness, but will come out of this stronger. I will not be replying to comments because I want to remain anon.
