The last couple of weeks I had been having high blood pressure which was rare for me. All throughout my pregnancy it had been low and great. So they did a blood and urine test. Blood came back fine, but my urine had a lot or protein in it. I was about a week from my due date anyways but my doctor didn't want to chance anything as she found that I had pre eclampsia... Got a phone call the next day saying hey we couldn't get you in for Friday induction, so the soonest I could get you in for was Thursday (that next day). Panicking as I didn't think anything was wrong with me because I'd had a good pregnancy throughout and now having to be induced, I called my boyfriend and told him.

We go in to get my induction started and I was started off with a pill to help start my labor, immediately that kicked in and I could start feeling slight contractions. My cervix was soft had been a lot softer since my last doctors appointment, but I wasn't dilated any. So I was kept on that pill for about two goes because they have to time them between whatever contractions your having?

Anyway, not as much luck with that as they had hoped. So the next day, after trying the pill one more time and then seeing if things progressed naturally they said let's try pitocin. I said okay. Tried the pitocin it helped a bit along with the pill but was still only about 2 cm maybe 1 1/2..

Discouraged they than told me that, that next morning id be getting the Foley bulb.. WORST DISCOMFORT EVER!!! 😩 That shit seriously sucked, and of course when I was getting that I was having contractions.

After that being in for 12 hours, it was removed. I had at this point been in the hospital for 2 1/2 days and not a whole bunch of progress. Throughout my time at the hospital, baby girls heart rate would also drop from 140 to like 70, if I layed on my back or a side she didn't want me on.. Then this started happening every time I'd get up to go to the bathroom, then again when I just wanted to try and walk around the hospital. I was immediately put on bed rest and kept being given oxygen every time that happened.

The next day they decided that they wanted to break my water however with how things were going they weren't sure if she could handle it Labor, so it was decided that I should probably get a c section... Just before they came in to talk to me more about the c section, my mucus plug came flooding out. I thought I had either peed myself or that my water broke! Lol from finding out I had pre eclampsia and they wanted to induce me to having a c section.. Wasn't how I expected my labor to go at all..

But c section went fine, she's healthy &I; I'm healing from surgery.. And I couldn't be more in love with my baby girl.

Born 09.16.17 at 12:51 PM. Weighing 6lbs & 15 oz & 19 1/2 inches long
