What's in a name?!

Question

With such a wide array of names floating around these forums I'm just curious to know how the statistics break down. What kind of name do you prefer for your little one? I have nothing against beautiful unique names but husband and I personally prefer more traditional. We're currently expecting baby #1, a boy to be named Michael Thomas. Michael is my deceased father and Thomas is hubby and his father. Other names we explored were Connor, Isaac, and Eli. The future girl name we have picked out is Rosemary Faye 😊

I love traditional old fashioned names! I'm not into the names that people just make up, or mess around w the spelling of perfectly good names. I think Michael is a great name btw😊

Rosemary is beautiful! Weirdly I like all girl names that mean "red" or are associated with the colour. Not BECAUSE they mean "red," just happen to like the names: Scarlett, Ruby, Rosalie.

Funnily enough, also particularly fond of the boy name, Rory, which also means "red." 😏

We're naming our little one Luke Bryson, so a traditional first name and a "unique/popular" middle name :)

I have a Robert Duncan( old family name my side) and I have a Jude Darwin (middle name was so grandfather name). We are currently waiting on Falynn Lois ( first name pronounced like Fallon and middle name was so grandmother name).
