My heart hurts from how sad I am about this

I'm in my senior year of high school. I've been dating my girlfriend for almost 2 years and I love her so much, more than I can express. We're so close, I feel like we're truly in love. This fall we're going to different universities and the topic of breaking up keeps coming up. I know it would be really hard and probably shitty to maintain a long distance relationship but to think of breaking up hurts me so much...I don't know what to do...please offer advice
