Visiting family w/ nb who's child had a bad fever a week ago?

So I have a newborn (3 weeks old) and we have family that wants to visit this upcoming weekend. The only thing is about a week ago one of their kids had a bad fever over 103 and they have 3 other kids. Do you think it's safe for them to visit? Or is it too risky that one of the other kids or the parents could be contagious?

Personally I wouldn't allow them to visit just yet. To me, better safe than sorry.

I wouldn't risk it! 3 weeks is so young, they barely have an immune system! That's me personally though, I'm a little paranoid when it comes to things like this. Do what makes you feel comfortable.

My husband says we should just ask if anyone is sick. But I'm worried they are contagious and wouldn't know it. Am I being too paranoid? Should we just ask?
