why do I get period cramps after ovulation?! Help!

I'm so sick of testing every month and getting a negative result. I also notice period cramps after ovulation. Am I alone in this? Does this mean I am out once I start getting the cramps?

I cramp at ovulation. It's called mittelschmerz. Google it.

I have cramps before AF and I had cramps before my BFP. Before I found out I was pregnant with my son I was so sure I was going to get AF any day. You're not out until she shows!

Everybody is different but for me once I start getting cramps which can come a week before AF is due I know I'm not pregnant
