Feeding a baby, who do you think is right?

Read the pics, and let me know. Purple seems a bit rude but makes kinda sense to me, and blue just feels attacked? Maybe? 
I kinda wanna jump in but that would be like opening a can of worms. Like maybe here I'm opening one lol

Based on what my dr told me, purple is correct. I formula feed, and especially in the earlier months, you're supposed to feed about every 3 hours. It takes that long for formula to digest. Breastfeeding is completely different since breast milk is processed much faster and so should be on demand. I've always fed every 2 1/2 - 3 hrs. Happy baby.

Purple is 100% right. When you breastfeed, feed on demand however long and however much needed. But for formula, there is absolutely a certain amount you feed them depending on weight. And a certain time frame you feed them. Formula is definitely harder to digest for the baby and does cause constipation.

There is such a thing as overfeeding an infant, either breast or bottle. Some will be able to feed on demand successfully, some will not, that’s just life. There’s no perfect answer- there are plenty of people doing it both ways and getting mixed results.

My daughter is formula fed and I've always fed her on demand. In the first couple months I had a lot of moms tell me I was "over feeding" her but I'm not going to deny her food when she was growing and hungry. She's now 4 months next week and actually eats a little less than most babies her age. I go by her individual needs. Not by a book.

I fed both my boys on demand and until they were calm/refused feeding, whether it was breastmilk or formula.

I agree with purple only because when we switched to formula and we fed him like that he got colicky and was constipated. When I switched back to breastfeeding and fed him the same way nothing happened. 
But each baby is different.

I started BF but couldn't sustain my supply. I was advised to give formula as if I was BF......on demand. He has fallen into his own schedule and never showed any signs of feeding unnecessarily or for comfort!!!! He very clearly refuses a bottle when full or doesn't want it. Even now at 15 weeks he sometimes has a full 6oz bottle.....sometimes 4, sometimes 5, sometimes 7! You get to know your baby!!
