I'm in nursing school, so I don't want to go to a salon for my hair right now if I don't have to, but I want to do something to it in the context of color.

I want to go blonde or mainly get highlights.

Just wondering if there are any cosmetology students on here that experiment on people? I remember some of the girls I went to high school with went to cosmetology school and posted on Facebook about such a thing a couple years back, just wasn't sure if students need to practice. I will do anything really. I just will be keeping the length and cut. Just need a change. Never colored or did anything to my hair before.

A month ago I was cheated on and went through a breakup, 3 weeks ago my close grandmother passed away, and last week I found out that my dog has a cancerous tumor and may not make it to his birthday in November. Honestly just having a shitty time right now and want to do something to get my spirits back up a bit.

Any ideas, locations, or reccomdendations very welcome! ❤
