I posted this in relationship talk but I haven't gotten any feedback so far and it's really messing with my head so I'm posting it here! Long story short I'm dating this amazing guy and everything is going well - but his dad keeps calling me Vanessa. My bf says they only dated for a month (we've dated for about 3) and that it doesn't mean anything and that his parents do like me...but it took this happening for him to really tell me anything about his past relationships and i still don't know much. A day ago when I was over it happened in front of him and his mom and he corrected his dad and his dad apologized but it was the second time it happened that day. My bf is super affectionate and tells me he loves me but this is really getting to me. I haven't told him it bothers me bc I don't want to make something out of nothing, but I'm going to college and we will be long distance starting in 2 days and I'm feeling a little insecure. Do you guys think this is anything to worry about or am I just overreacting?
