Heart Palpitations??

Hey all. I've been having heart palpitations for the past two days. Last night they were very frequent and today slightly less so. Should I be concerned??

What can be normol for one may not be normol for another. Hearts are never to be risked so medically speaking please get yourself checked over. Your likely experiencing general pregnancy palpitations but you should never risk your heart and dissmiss it. Should always be seen. Best wishes

I have them super bad (mostly after I eat). They last for a longtime. I went and got an EKG and everything was fine. I was told they happen in pregnancy because of all he extra blood that needs to be pumped. Magnesium has literally saved my life it makes them go away right away and doc said that was good during pregnancy! Good luck I know it sucks!

Could be due to anxiety, side effects of other medications or high caffeine intake. I would see the GP just to rule anything out and if they get particularly worse and you get bad chest pain then see someone urgently. It's better to be safe than sorry. I had heart palpitations and chest pain but luckily it was just ruled out to be because of my anxiety x

I've had some too, mostly when I'm going to bed. I did some research and I think they're fairly common during pregnancy due to the increased blood volume and your heart having to work harder to circulate the blood. (: I also get a sort of whooshing in my ears that matches my heart rate. It all def makes it hard for me to fall asleep though! I find they're not as bad if I slowly transition from sitting up to laying down.

My doctor told me it's normal, especially after changing positions like right when you lay down. She said as long as it doesn't last for more than a minute or so it's fine.
