So my boyfriend and I live about 1300 miles away from each other, and we're both in college. He really likes his little school but I'm not very happy with mine. I'm kinda miserable and depressed here but I don't know if that's just because he's not here?

I'm thinking about transferring to a school closer to him that has more things that I want in a school, but it would take me away from everything I've known my whole life here. I'd be away from my family and friends.

If anything happened to my boyfriend and I, I'm afraid I'd be alone there without family/friends. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
