Mysterious medical problem?
A couple weeks ago I started to get numbness in my arms. So much that I would have anxiety/panic attacks making it even worse and hard to breathe. That went on for about a week (I didn't go to a doctor because I don't have any health insurance) and then I went to the ER because I couldn't take it anymore. They did an EKG and took chest X-rays and told me that my heart is fine and my lungs look good too. No risk of blood clots. And sent me home. It's got really bad again so I went back to the ER a week later and and I had a different doctor see me. He did another EKG, chest x-Rays and he had some blood taken out of my right arm. All of which came back to be normal. Both times I went to the ER the doctors weren't very nice or caring and they didn't really listen to what I was saying. Treating me like a paycheck instead of a patient and because I don't have insurance they were more concerned on sending me on my merry way than listening to my comments, questions, and concerns. They then abruptly Told me to see my family doctor for a follow up appointment and to leave. :( Which I don't have one. I had a pediatrician but now that I'm 20 I'm too old to see her. Since then (it's been about a week) my numbness hasn't come around much but now I'm getting pains in my wrists, shoulders, and verious parts of my arms.I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow and try to find a new doctor that I can see but I wondered if anyone else has had a similar experience or any idea of things it could be?
