Baby boy names

The father of my unborn wants his first name to start with his which will be Ellis Malik Hale but I told him that since we've been calling him Malik to just name him Malik Bernard Hale. What do u guys think people said if he ain't helping buying and preparing nor going to appts for baby that he has no choice but to call him Malik Bernard Hale. I'm confused because I'm due next month.
