Dear Mrs. Fransis, As you must know, your husband was stationed at our Afghanistan bases. Officer Fransis personally requested to be transfered to our infantry for reasons I cannot put in this letter. Ma'am, your husband was on a mission to infiltrate an undercover house for one of our informants' town homes. he was with 3 other officers at 2300 inside the target's home when his position got compromised. Before they knew it they were surrounded by 20-some-odd Afghanistan soldiers in the center of the building. They were speaking to the 4 U.S. soldiers in a language which was undetectable. They tried to communicate back until the Afghanistans fired at our soldiers' feet and ceiling. And that's when the mics and cams went out. our higher rank went back to the cute and everything was swept clean.
