I really know nothing about this, flying by instruments (meaning blogs and forums) here :) 
If you want a one month supply of diapers you'll need about 300 (10 changes a day). You don't know how big your baby is going to be, but I think it'll be safe to buy a box of 200+ in newborn size, and then you can exchange unused packages for a bigger size if needed, or, buy more of NB. I recommend looking at eBay - great deals on bulk orders! I got 12x20 pampers swaddlers for $37.
I am completely lost about wipes myself, but I'm planning on using reusable cloth wipes when I can, so I hope that by the end of the first 2-3 weeks I'll have an idea about what we need. Right now I'm calculating as 2 wipes per change multiplied by 10 changes a day = 20 a day. I think it's safe to assume you'll be using the wipes for more than just diaper changes, and that you'll use more than 2 for some of the changes, so let's say you need 30 a day on average. That's 900, or call it a 1000 per month.
For myself I have to double all these numbers - we are having twins!! And it's honestly scary.
I don't know about nursing pads either, I got a box of 36 disposables and a pack of reusable bamboo ones. I'm planning on using the cloth ones whenever I can.
