How far pp were you when you had the courage to look down there? When did you go back to normal?

Maybe a week and a half? But I didn’t feel like I had to build up any courage lol that sounds a little dramatic. Once it wasn’t swollen anymore everything looked normal again.

Around 5 weeks PP. I honestly wasn't 100% sure what it looked like beforehand though. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it. I expected a mangled mess and it looked normal to me.

Don't look until the time your doctor says it takes to heal (6 weeks.) I cried so hard the first time I looked which was not long after getting home from the hospital. I thought my vagina was permanently destroyed 😂 It goes back to normal though lol mine looks like how it did before I had my daughter.

I think 5-6w PP? I kept checking my stitches... I didn't get back to a form of normalcy until 8+ and I mean it's never going to fully be the same
