Question

I always get ovulation pain on my right side when I ovulate and also breast tenderness. However this month I got a positive opk but no pain and no tender breast. Does this means I didn't ovulate? I usually bbt but I didn't this month because I've been sick and I know they wouldn't be accurate!!!

The trouble with opks is that although they give you a positive reading they still can't tell you if you definitely ovulated. Your body can gear up to ovulate but then fail. I used to suffer with ovulation pain and if I didn't feel it then I would know I didn't ovulate x

If you got a positive OPK you definitely ovulated because that tests for the surge of LH which is only released with ovulation. It's possible you didn't feel pain on the right side because you ovulated from the left ovary. Ovulation switched sides from month to month and it's rarely the same side twice on a row.
