Do girl pregnancies give you acne and/or boys give you clear skin?

Is it an old wives tale????
I've heard this business about girls giving you bad skin so many times.  
It definitely seems like crap, doesn't it ?? Like unscientific silliness.
But .... you know.... sometimes persistent myths have some little nugget of truth.
And I don't find out the gender for another three weeks, so I'm grasping at straws lol
