Gel nails during retrieval?!

Getting mixed answers from my nurses on whether or not it's ok to have it done prior to retrieval. They tried to call the PACU to confirm, but couldn't reach out to them. Thoughts?

If in doubt I would take it off.  Just my two cents.

I'd guess no- technically it's anesthesia/surgery, and when I had surgery the rules were no makeup, no nail/toe polish.

They clarified if you had polish on, it had to be a light color to get accurate vitals

I have had two retrievals and my nails have been done both times. There have never been any issues!

My doc told me no scented items on the body. So no deodorant, soap, shampoo, perfume, lotion etc but she didn't say anything about makeup or Nails!

Mine told me no makeup so I'm guessing nail polish counts.
