overdue so vbac may no longer be an option

Looking for some words of encouragement from any ladies who went into labor suddenly with no warning signs. This is my second pregnancy and I was due on sept 18th. Saw doc on sept 19th and was only 1cm and cervix was too high to strip. Sigh. It's now almost one week past my due date and I'm only having some Braxton hicks (I think) - painless tightening of my uterus. Didn't notice the loss of my mucos plug so it may still be there. Doc is gonna check me again Monday and c section scheduled Wednesday if this baby decides to not come by then. I had a c section with my first after laboring 20 plus hours - once I started pushing, his heart rate dropped and it was an emergency C.  I wanted to try for a vbac this time but I can't be induced.
