Does he love me ?

Sooooo me and this guy have a bit of a past we dated for like 3 months and we met for the first time 27/11/2016 and oh my god it was amazing we had such a connection and just cuddles and talked for hours .... but a few days later it all went down hill... we both ended up making each other’s mental health worse as we kept trying to heal each other... we got all contact cut for months and I thought he’d never want me back so I tried to move on and did things I regret ... he came back after 6/7 months and I’m still deeply in love with him but he isn’t sure how he feels anymore as we haven’t seen each other since then ... should I be worried ?
